The Fairgrounds is also available for weddings, reunions, etc., and is surrounded by breathtaking views. There are rest rooms and shower facilities, as well as water and electrical hook-ups. The property was previously owned by the Sumpter Valley Community Association and was donated to the City of Sumpter in September, 2001.

The City has updated the facility and it is used by the Fire Department Auxiliary, Bingo, spaghetti feeds, club meetings, bazaars and more. The Community Center is available for a fee for those wishing to hold a reunion, large family dinners, meetings, etc.

For more information regarding the Community Center, contact Julie McKinney at City Hall, 541-894-2314.
