Sumpter, Oregon - Snow Report
March 13th (9:00 AM)
March 13th: It is snowing this morning and the weather forecasts show that we are going to have snow for the next 4+ days. It is a wet snow down here in town. Not sure what its like up higher, but we have almost an inch so far this morning in town.
After 10 AM, the snow softens up to keep the hifax's cool. Off trail riding has been good. It is late winter/early spring riding out there. Have a good time where ever you ride.
Thank you and as always, "track side down'.
Please remember: We have a speed limit of 15 MPH and riding is not allowed on the hwy/main street of town (the pavement). Also, we ask you to please respect the residents of Sumpter and keep the hot-roding for out of town. Riding on city streets is a privilege given and can be revoked. We thank you and hope you have a great time while you are in Sumpter.
We will be updating snow conditions when there are any significant changes to report.
We would like to thank Dea from the Stage Stop for her contributions to our snow reports.
